HISTORY: Zappa is half-Australian, his mother being native, and his father an American Naval officer. He found himself unusually lonely in childhood, despite having many friends, and having a very loving mother and father; both of which is was very close to. At the age of 6 he and his family moved to the states. Soon into his American schooling, he met his first love, Samara. For years the two were rather close, until, at the age of 12, Samara, and her family moved, leaving an empty place in Zappa's heart.

At the age of 10, Zappa's mother and father's marriage began to unravel; starting with minor fights, and progressively more violent and unnerving. Quite often, Zappa was unwillingly forced to take sides per conflict, each one slowly breaking ties from his parents toward him. By 15, Zappa's parents decided to divorce. During the separation, neither wanted to claim custody, though he had no relatives in America to be sent to. The shock of this news, stacked with years of progressive rejection, left him a little worse for wear mentally, slowly developing a personality to handle the pain and rejection from his parents. Now, 16, he begins his first year, his sophomore year, at Clairbourn.

Name: Zappa

Age: Late teens, early twenties

Fandom They Come From: Guilty Gear

What part of the storyline are you taking your character from?: Ending C, the furthest from the canon endings, where he ends up in jail for killing a Japanese man.

Fight order: May -> Axl -> Baiken -> Instant Kill: Anji -> I-NO -> Ky

Personality: Outside of his 'disease', Zappa is a quiet and mostly lonely man, who's quite attentive to keeping his thoughts and events in his journal. Even though he travels to find a doctor who can cure his self-proclaimed 'sickness', he still tries to find a mate (read as wife or girlfriend). Regarding his sickness, Zappa often wakes up paranoid, be it another blackout or sleeping on his own; never always sure about which of the two occurred. In the case of a blackout, Zappa typically acts cowardly, at least checking his surroundings before trying to flee in a panic. On the rare cases he wakes up and finds someone nearby, he at least takes the time to check on the person to see weither or not he should be leaving in a hurry, as sticking around sometimes gotten him injured more than he's already been during the blackout.

In the Guilty Gear world, Japanese people are VERY TABOO! They're supposed to be all confined to colonies spread throughout the world, given Japan was destroyed LONG LONG before Zappa was born. So, pardon his reaction to a good portion of the cast here.

How did your character die?: During a blackout, he picked a fight with a police officer. In a rare moment of frustration, the officer killed him.

Timeline: Accent Core Plus ending 2. After escaping jail, and ultimately being cured, Zappa inadvertendly asks for 'her' to come back. And at his request, S-Ko returns in a more physical form, and continues to haunt his body.

Personality: Firstly, Zappa hates scary things. If it wasn't enough of a panic to wake up either injured or somewhere completely different, waking up to the sights of the people S-Ko has had him attack and the injuries resulted is far worse. Most things anyone would find scary, Zappa has almost an overreaction to. Ghosts, monsters, and pretty much anything supernatural, Zappa has one of two reactions to; run, or completely ignore it and pretend it's not even there (even if it's talking directly to him) Secondly, he's real sweet on women. Being that one of his life's goals/hobbies is finding a wife, he'll show the utmost and sencerest kindness. He's almost a perfect gentleman, if it weren't for him turning tail in the face of anything scary. Zappa's a flirt, but hardly to the point of hitting on anything that moves or playing several girls at a time. Though he'll pursue more than one at a time, he'll focus more when one shows more promise over another. That side, Zappa's a rather plain guy... well, at least until S-Ko gets involved. Having been recently brought to awareness of S-Ko, she's the primary cause of anything fearful in his life. Even thouhg he's frightened of her, S-Ko is actually fond of the man, and tries to keep him to herself. Through Zappa, S-Ko will lash out at women as they may try to approach him (be it casually or romantically), only wanting to keep him for herself. Aside of being covetous of Zappa, S-Ko hates mostly ALL men, and will attack at the slightest provocation. She'll rarely see one as potential for her, but given her nature as both a ghost, and controlling Zappa through violent rages, she'll quickly turn face and attack the moment they show any disinterest or dislike for her.

 

What your character can offer: Vengeful spirits, prankster spirits, something like a stand, a dog, a floating sword, etheral centipedes, unexpected mood swings, possession, a desperate attempt to find a cure for his sickness as well as trying to find a mate.
