PERSONALITY: Nikki is in all definition a rock star, aside from all the negative aspects of using drugs and women... the unfortunate stereotypes. Aside from being an epic rocker, he's spacey. Oftentimes his head is in the clouds, oblivious to the things around him unles someone pretty much holds his hand and points it out. He'll let his songwriting get in the way of what's going on as well, so long as his direct attention isn't needed. It's never that he doesn't care, he's just never paying attention. But he 's quite headstrong and determined when he does put his mind to something, be it the quest for his family, or unlocking that one song that will rock above all other songs. He has a tendancy to use 'Rockin' in place of some words.

BACKGROUND: The son of the pirate Fargo and the mermaid Zelbess, Nikki's mother died when he was young and he was separated from his father and his younger sister. He grew up to be a famous bard with the performing group the Magical Dreamers, but he never forgot about his missing family. When the group travelled to Termina he set out to search for his sister, suspecting her to be somewhere within Viper Manor.

Miki, a dancer in the troupe, enlisted Serge and Kid to help her retrieve Nikki, who had wandered off into the Shadow forest. They agreeded, and when Serge and Kid entered they found him trying to sneak into Viper Manor to find his sister. Having a similar goal, they joined forces.

Within the manor he came face to face with Marcy, one of the four Dragoon Devas, and instantly he knew her to be his missing sister. She remembered nothing of her family, however, and fought with the three of them before running off.

After the trip to Viper Manor reaches a conclusion, the Magical Dreamer's perfomance is postponed indefinately and Nikki is free to do as he pleases, journeying with Serge.

Things pick up again aboard a ghost ship. Once things calm down on what turns out to be a pirate ship Nikki realizes that the name is the S.S. Invincible, a name he remembers from his past, and he asks Fargo if he has any children. Fargo replies that his children are dead, not knowing that they are in fact alive and his son is standing right before him.

Once Serge returns to his home world, they find the 'home world' version of Nikki, hired by Fargo working as a musician abord the SS Zelbess, this Fargo also unaware of his son right under his nose. As well, in this world Nikki is the last hope for the demi-humans, as he is the one who can sing the song needed to heal their island of Marbule.

Zelbess' sister Irenes desperately tries to get Fargo to let Nikki sing the song, and Nikki takes the cause as his own and tries desperately to convince the man he realizes is his father. What it takes to talk sense into the embittered Fargo is himself from another world. He relents, and Nikki performs the song of the demi-humans, which allows Serge to go in and rid Marbule of the monsters that plague it.

TIMELINE: Right before the performance to save Marbule

DREAM: He didn't understand why he had to follow Serge around the fence, but, that's what they were told to do. Some promise of 'something good'. Maybe it was the inspiration they were looking for. Though, what inspiration that giant blob could provide. Around and around they went, Nikki paying little attention to walking as he went from wondering about the inspiration, to trying to come up with his own again. "Good job circling! Have fun battling!"

'Wait... battling?' he wondered as the blob's voice echoed away, the thing fading into nothing. Above it's former place three figures decended.

"We're the 3 mystical knights! Show us your skills!" It made Nikki wonder what kind of skill they were asking about. But, it wouldn't hurt to give them a show. Rocking was how he fought best after all. Shouldering the strap of his guitar, his hand went to the strings and began plucking. Ignorantly he'd begun playing a tune while the three were making their arrogant introductions. Nikki stopped playing just as a blue skinned man said "I am Slash!", flourishing his sword. That assured him that it was a fight they were after. Nikki went back to rocking, preparing himself mentally for combat.

But the three knights didn't see it polite to be playing music during their elaborate introduction, much less in the middle of combat. "No no no... this won't do at all." said the smaller of the three whom dressed in pink. "You just aren't suited to fight with us." The other two remained quiet. Nikki hit a few flat notes before he stopped, which was his motivation entirely. Just as the three knights had floated from the air, they returned, vanishing.

"Wait... Serge... what was that all about?" he asked his friend, to which he was met with a shrug.

History: A fansite, surprisingly! ((Due to the presence of a second Nikki from the series; in a slight modification to his carreer, Nikki will be using the stage name of Slash, so as to seperate the two from naming and identity confusion))

Personality: Nikki is in all definition a rock star, aside from all the negative aspects of using drugs and women... the unfortunate stereotypes. Aside from being an epic rocker, he's rather distracted. Oftentimes his head is in the clouds. He's usually nice and relaxed, smiling most of the time when you do catch him in his moments of paying attention. In those moments where he is focused, his attention is completely put toward that one thing, giving it his all to see it through. In his typical state of distraction and aloofness, he would seem like an airhead; barely knowing much outside his own world. But despite his spacey demeanor, and incredibly good looks, he's actually intellegent. Without prior knowledge of the vegitation, Nikki managed to figure out how to move some obstructing creatures based on the scent of local berries. Nikki lets his music take first place in his life, and has even set himself on a personal quest to find that one bit of inspiration, that one style, riff, line of lyrics, that one thing that will completely unleash his full potential and set his career as a rockstar into full throttle. Even though he's famous in parts of the world, he will still offer to play a tune here or there for free, or just take up his guitar where ever he happens to be and rock out on the spot. He'll happily go on, performing like he were at one of his concerts, even if he's by himself.

Strengths: In combat, Nikki is surprisingly mediocre. He doesn't particularly fault in the parameters of power, defence, speed or magic; but his ability to use his music as a weapon puts him in a class of his own. More than just smashing people with a guitar (which would be a good waste of a guitar) Nikki can hit notes at such frequencies that he can damage people physically. Despite his aloof nature, he's surprisingly focused when it comes down to business. When something needs to be done, he sets out and puts his all into completing it. Even when it comes to helping another race (the demi-humans) Nikki puts everything he has into doing what he's got to do. Being son of both human and demi-human, Nikki seems rather oblivious to his own geneology, as well as the difference in the two races. Like many of his friends, he doesn't let species deter him from associating with anyone.

Weaknesses: Simply because he has the ability to fight, doesn't quite mean he's suited for it. He fights out of necessity, not desire, otherwise he wouldn't be built like a twig with a collar. When Nikki doesn't have something to do, he's immideately thinking about his next song, his family, or just milling about with his head in the clouds. THe fact that he's usually preoccupied with his own thoughts makes him forget little things often, or miss what's going on around him.
